PEANUT BRITTLE MICROWAVE STYLE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
Dash of salt
1 to 1 1/2 c. shelled peanuts, dry roasted
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease a baking sheet well. Combine sugar, corn syrup and salt in 3 quart casserole. Stir in peanuts. Microwave on high until light brown (8-10 minutes), stirring once or twice. Stir in remaining ingredients until light and foamy. Quickly spread as thin as possible on greased baking sheet. Cool, then break into pieces. The entire procedure takes about 15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
