ORANGE SHORTCAKE 
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter or shortening
3/4 c. milk, enough for consistency of biscuit dough

Sift all dry ingredients; add and cut in shortening. Mix with milk. Roll out 1/4 inch thick, and cut with large biscuit butter. Bake at 450 degrees. Take out at once, and open biscuits. Spread with butter and add the orange pulp which you should have ready and sugared. Sprinkle with shredded coconut and whipped cream, if desired.
