MORNING CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. bacon 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese 6 eggs 3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 9 slices of bread Egg beaters can be used. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bread crust, butter well and cut into cubes. Lay into well buttered 7 x 12 inch casserole. Sprinkle cheese over bread cubes. Layer crisp bacon over cheese. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over layers. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. |
