5 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. whipping cream
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
6 c. flour

Beat egg and sugar well. Stir in cream, buttermilk and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together; add to mixture. Stir until blended. Drop in hot deep fry oil and fry.
