MARY'S HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
3 qts. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. sugar
11 eggs
1 can Eagle Brand milk
2 cans Pet milk
2 tbsp. vanilla

Bring 1 quart of milk to a boil. Beat salt, sugar and eggs together. Pour this mixture into the boiled milk. Add the other 1/2 gallon of milk. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Let this mixture cool. Add Eagle Brand milk, Pet milk and vanilla. Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze, using 8 parts ice to 1 part salt. Yum yum good!
