FILLET OF BEEF | |
Approximately 5 lbs. of beef Trim fat from fillet. Place on large sheet of foil and rub 1 tablespoon ground thyme into beef. Mix together: 1 tsp. white pepper 1 tbsp. Lawry's seasoned salt 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. ground oregano Sprinkle above mixture all over foil. Roll beef over foil to pick up the rest of remaining dry ingredients; just sprinkled. Wrap beef in foil and refrigerate at least 12 hours. Remove form refrigerator at least 2 hours before cooking. Place beef in cooking pan and pour 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce over it. Add 1 cup of water to pan. Cook 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes for rare, longer for well done. |
