BARBECUED RIBS 
1 c. ketchup
1/3 c. bourbon
1/4 c. molasses
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Hot pepper to taste
4 1/2 lbs. fresh pork spareribs, cut into servings pieces

Mix all ingredients except spareribs; let stand at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours. Place ribs, meaty side up on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast uncovered in 325 degree oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Brush sauce over ribs. Roast, turning and brushing frequently with sauce, until ribs are done, about 45 minutes longer. Heat remaining sauce to boiling, stirring occasionally. Serve with ribs.
