1 c. butter
1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted flour (cake flour)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
3 tsp. coconut extract
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour alternately with milk to last portion of flour. Add baking powder. Add flavoring. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Put in cold oven - do not preheat oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes until lightly browned (don't open oven while baking). Ice or leave plain.
