PECAN PIE BARS 
CRUST:

3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt

FILLING:

4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Grease pan bottom and sides.

CRUST: Beat at medium speed flour, sugar and butter and salt. Press into pan; and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

FILLING: Stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar and butter and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans. Spread over hot crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Makes 48 bars.
