TACOS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed (or garlic powder)
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
12 taco shells, warmed
Chopped tomatoes
Chopped lettuce
Grated Cheddar cheese

Saute beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until beef is browned and onion is tender. Spoon off excess fat. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, pepper and pepper sauce; cook uncovered until thickened, stirring occasionally. Spoon into taco shells and top with tomato, lettuce and cheese.
