1 pt. whipping cream OPTION I: In small clean baby-food jars with lids, put 1 tablespoon of whipping cream at room temperature. Shake 3 to 4 minutes. Pour off whey; rinse remaining chunks in cold water. Children may shape their butter. OPTION II: Pour pint of whipping cream into quart jar. Let children shake the jar 3 to 4 minutes each, passing the jar around the room. Pour off whey. Rinse chunks of butter in cold water. |
