MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Bring to boil and boil full power 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from microwave and add soda. Mix well and pour over popped corn. Return to microwave for 3 1/4 minutes at full power. Stir every 30 seconds. Remove, spread out on foil or waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
