MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
4 or 5 qt. popped corn
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Melt butter. Mix butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt together and cook mixture at 100% power (high) until it boils, then continue to cook for 2 minutes. Add soda and stir. Pour over popped corn and shake well. Cook for 4 minutes on high, shaking well every 45 seconds. (Works best in a heavy paper bag.) Place on cookie sheet or wax paper to cool and separate. Store in an airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
