MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
6 qts. popped popcorn

SYRUP:

2 cubes butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon of soda. Stir well, it will be foaming. Pour over 6 quarts of popcorn.

Put popcorn and syrup into a paper bag that has been sprayed well with Pam. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes, then shake bag. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes, shake bag, microwave 30 seconds, and shake bag. Pour into a large pan to cool, break apart as it cools. This will be crispy.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
