SWEET AND SOUR BAKED BEANS 
8 slices bacon
4 lg. onions
1/2 - 1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt (opt.)
2 (15 oz.) cans dried lima beans
1 (1 lb.) can green lima beans
1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) can New England baked beans

Cook bacon, crumble and reserve. Cut onions in rings. Put onions in skillet and add sugar, mustard, salt, garlic salt and vinegar. Cook, covered 25 minutes. Place beans in 2 quart casserole. Add onion mixture and stir to mix. Crumble bacon on top of beans for topping. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Yield: 12 to 16 servings.
