RICE PUDDING | |
1/2 c. rice 1 tsp. salt 4 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. milk 3 eggs, separated 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cook rice in 4 cups boiling water and 1 teaspoon salt for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water. Put back in kettle; add milk. Simmer and stir for 25 minutes until thick; add 1/2 cup sugar. |
