LASAGNA 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 c. water
1 tbsp. dried basil
1 pkg. lasagna noodles
2 beaten eggs
3 c. Ricotta or cream style cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 lbs. Mozzarella cheese

Brown meat; drain. Add the first 5 ingredients and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Cook noodles as directions say. Combine all ingredients, except Mozzarella cheese.

In 13x9x2 inch baking pan, layer half each of noodles, meat, Ricotta mixture and Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
