BAR-B-Q SAUCE FOR PORK, BEEF AND
POULTRY
 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. chili powder
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. dark corn syrup (molasses)
1/4 c. orange juice

Simmer 30 minutes, add orange juice and simmer 5 minutes more. Makes 3 cups.
