COUNTRY SUPPER CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 tbsp. oil (optional)
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 c. sliced cooked carrots
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
2 c. green beans
2 c. mashed potatoes

Brown meat, add onions, salt and pepper, put in 2 quart casserole. Over this add beans, carrots and one can tomato sauce. Spoon mashed potatoes around edge of casserole. Pour other can of tomato sauce over all. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. You may wish to put buttered cracker crumbs over potatoes.
