TORTILLA SOUP 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. tomatoes, peeled & chopped
4 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. V-8
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. bottled steak sauce
Tortilla chips
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 avocado, chopped
2 c. cooked chicken (opt.)

Saute onion, chilies and garlic in oil until soft. Add tomatoes, chicken broth, V-8, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and steak sauce. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer, covered about 30 minutes. Pour into bowls and top with chips, cheese and avocado.

OPTIONAL: For a complete meal, add chunks of cooked chicken before simmering. Serves 6.
