Mix 4 tablespoons flour and 1 cup milk. Cook until thick. (Will look lumpy.) Mix 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup Crisco and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until creamy. Mix cooked flour and milk with sugar/butter mixture. Put between two cakes (cookies). Makes about 25 to 30 small cakes.
