BUCK EYES 
1 1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
1/2 c. butter, at room temperature
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate morsels
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar (must be sifted)
2 tbsp. shortening

Mix peanut butter, vanilla, butter, confectioners' sugar, sifted in. Roll into small balls (bite size). Put on wax paper and refrigerate for several hours. After balls have set, melt bag of chocolate with shortening. Put toothpick in balls and dip in chocolate. Put back on wax paper and refrigerate until hard.
