IOWA PORK PLATTER | |
3 lb. boneless pork loin roast 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (12 oz.) can (1 1/2 c.) beer 1 tbsp. dried minced onion 2 tbsp. brown sugar Mix ingredients except brown sugar. Place in plastic bag with meat. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Drain meat and save marinade. Put meat thermometer in center of roast. Stir brown sugar in marinade. In a covered grill arrange preheated coals around a drip pan. Place roast over drip pan but not over coals. Close grill. Grill about 1 1/2-2 hours or until thermometer registers 170 degrees. Brush with marinade every 15 minutes. |
