SPEEDY ROLLS 
6 1/2 c. flour
2 c. lukewarm water
1/3 c sugar
2 cakes compressed yeast or 2 pkg dry yeast
1 tbsp salt
2 eggs
1/3 c. shortening

Step 1: Place lukewarm water, sugar and yeast in large mixing bowl. Add salt and 2 c. sifted flour. Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes.

Step 2: Add eggs and cooled, melted shortening. Beat 1 minute.

Step 3: Gradually add 4 1/2 c. flour, stirring until dough is formed.

Step 4: Allow dough to rest in bowl for 20 minutes, then shape into pan rolls. This dough may be refrigerated for 1 or 2 days. Cover and place in refrigerator after step 3. After rising, bake 25 to 30 minutes at 375°F.
