MEAT BALLS IN ONION SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. rolled oats
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. marjoram

Combine all ingredients. Shape into 25 balls. Roll in 1/3 cup flour. Brown in 2 tablespoons oil. Combine 1 package dry onion soup mix and 2 cups hot water. Pour over browned meat balls. Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Combine remaining flour and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth. Stir into liquid in pan. Stir gently until mixture boils. Cover until ready to serve.
