PECAN PIE 
4 tbsp. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup (white)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. flour
2 (9") pie shells

Beat eggs well. Add melted butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt and vanilla. Mix chopped nuts with flour. Add all to egg mixture. Bake pie shell for 3 minutes at 300 degrees. Remove pie shell from oven and fill with pecan mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees. Pie may be garnished with pecan halves.
