PICKLED OKRA 
Pack washed tender okra in washed and sterilized jars with the following for pint jars:

1 pinch alum
1 or 2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. dill seed
2 hot peppers or to taste

LIQUID MIXTURE:

4 c. Heinz white vinegar
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt

Bring to boil, cover packed okra with mixture and seal.
