PORK CHOP DINNER 
4 pork chops, 1/2" thick
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1 c. boiling water
4 sm. potatoes, pared, halved lengthwise
4 carrots, thickly sliced (2 c.)
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. cold water

Range top - 42-47 minutes cooking time.

Brown chops in hot oil (10 minutes in skillet), medium heat, about 15 minutes. Drain off excess fat. Dissolve granules in 1 cup boiling water; pour over chops. Top with potatoes, carrots, onion and celery. Cover, simmer on low heat 25-30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove to warm platter.

Combine flour and 1/2 cup water. Cook, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes until thickened.
