BANANA BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. sifted all purpose flour
3 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. whole bran
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in bran. Mix remaining ingredients; add all at once to flour mixture, stirring just to moisten. Spoon batter into lightly greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes 10 muffins.
