1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk or half and half

Mix first three ingredients and boil until mixture bubbles. Cool. Add milk or cream. Yields: Approximately 2 cups.
