VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 
4 lbs. beef
1 qt. tomato juice
1 sm. onion, chopped
4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 bay leaves
1 qt. tomatoes
1 1/2 c. diced celery
1 can whole corn
1 c. sliced carrots
2 c. diced potatoes
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen limas

Combine meat, tomato juice, onion, seasonings, 8 cups water in soup pot. Cover; simmer 2 hours. Cut up beef. Strain broth. Add meat and vegetables. Cover; simmer 1 hour. Serve 12.
