GRANDMA'S TEA CAKES 
1 stick butter
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs. Sift together flour and baking powder, add with milk to sugar mixture, add vanilla. Roll 1/2 of dough at a time on a floured board, and knead dough until its of a consistency to cut with cookie cutters. Roll about 1/4 inch thickness. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees about 12 to 15 minutes, or lightly browned. Great for dunking in sweet milk.
