GRANDMA'S MEAT BALLS 
1/2 lb. bread (1/2 loaf)
3 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
3 lg. eggs
1 tsp. pepper
2 cloves garlic, mashed
3 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese

Soak bread in warm water for 15 minutes, then drain thoroughly. Mix all ingredients, then shape into medium sized balls. Place in bottom part of broiler pan or large flat pan with low sides. Add enough water to cover bottom of pan, approximately 1/2 inch.

Bake at 300 degrees for glass or 325 degrees for metal container for 1/2 hour. Turn meat balls over and bake for another 1/2 hour. Serve with your favorite pasta sauce. Makes approximately 24 meat balls.
