SALISBURY STEAK 
2 lbs. ground round
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
1 c. evaporated milk
2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tbsp. minced onion

Mix crumbs and milk in bowl until blended. Add meat, salt, pepper and onion. Mix well. Shape into 6 oval patties. Place patties on broiler rack. Broil 5" from heat for 9 minutes. Turn, broil 9 minutes more.

MUSHROOM SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 sm. can mushrooms, undrained
2 c. boiling water
2 bouillon cubes (beef)

Melt butter, stir in flour, add mushrooms and blend well. Add consomme and blend well. Simmer a few minutes, add patties.
