3/4 c. extra light Fleishmann's butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and flavoring thoroughly. Measure flour by dipping method, or by sifting. Sit flour, baking powder, and salt together; blend in. Chill at least 1 hour.

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut with 3 inch cookie cutter. Place an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes, or until cookie are a delicate golden color. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

FROSTING:

4 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. or more of skim milk
1 drop coloring

Mix together.
