BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lb. bulk sausage 9 eggs 3 c. milk 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 12 slices white bread, cubed, crust removed 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese Brown sausage; drain and cool. Beat eggs with milk. Add dry mustard, bread and salt. Stir in cheese and sausage. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator (1 hour before baking dish in Pyrex dish). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6 to 8. This is our family's traditional Christmas breakfast. |
