2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. butter, melted

Place all dry ingredients listed in a bowl, stir a bit and then add the applesauce and butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Bake in 8 x 12 inch glass Pyrex baking pan.
