CABBAGE PATCH SOUP 
3 lg. cans V-8 juice cocktail in lg. pan.
Any kind of meat for a base, even sm. meatballs

Cut up a small head of cabbage, several small carrots, small onions, some celery and green pepper, all cut up. Cabbage should be most of vegetable. Add all of vegetables to V-8 juice. Cook for several hours on low heat, stirring often.

If you want less soup, use less V-8 juice. Make sure all vegetables are covered with about 1 inch of juice. The soup will thicken during cooking. Add no water or potatoes. Makes a very good low calorie soup for a cold, snowy day.
