NO-COOK MINT PATTIES | |
1/3 c. light corn syrup 1/4 c. butter, softened 1 tsp. peppermint extract 1/2 tsp. salt 1 lb. sifted powdered sugar (4 3/4 c.) 1 drop each red and green food coloring Blend corn syrup, butter, peppermint, and salt. Add sugar; mix until smooth. Divide into halves; knead red food coloring into one half and green food coloring into another half. Shape into small balls; flatten with fork on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Let dry. Makes 72. |
