PECAN PIE SQUARES 
Crust:

3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. + 2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3/4 tsp. salt

Mix flour, sugar, butter and salt. Beat on medium speed until crumbly. Press into 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Filling:

4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. chopped pecans

Mix eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla extract. Add pecans. Pour over baked crust. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
