ARVILLA HUNTER SPINACH SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce
10 oz. bag fresh spinach
10 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 white onion, slivered
1 pt. cottage cheese
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
4 hard boiled eggs, crumbled (optional)
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
2/3 tbsp. chopped onion or 2 tsp. onion juice
2/3 c. oil

For dressing, put cider vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and onion in blender. Start it at low speed and slowly add oil. Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated in blender container. Turn blender on again, briefly, before putting on salad. Serves approximately 10.
