BANANA TEA BREAD | |
1 3/4 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter 2/3 c. granulated sugar 2 eggs, unbeaten 1 c. mashed ripe bananas Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. At medium speed, cream butter thoroughly. Add sugar and eggs. Beat until very light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. At low speed beat in flour mixture alternately with bananas just until smooth. Pour into loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until done. |
