LIVER HOT DISH 
1 roll pork sausage
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lb. liver, cut in pieces
Flour & shortening

Brown pork sausage, remove from pan, place into casserole dish. Saute onions in sausage drippings, remove and place on top of sausage in casserole. Flour the liver pieces and fry in drippings. Place on top of sausage and onions. Brown 1/4 cup shortening and 1/4 cup flour, add water or beef broth to make gravy. Pour over meat and onions. Place in 350 degree oven for 1/2 to 3/4 hour.
