TRIPLE TREAT FUDGE BROWNIES 
1 (23.7 oz.) pkg. double fudge brownie mix
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped cashew nuts
1 (16 oz.) container chocolate fudge frosting
2 tbsp. confectioners sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 9-inch square metal baking pan. Prepare brownie mix, stirring almond extract, chocolate chips and all but 3 tablespoons chopped cashews into batter. Pour batter in pan; bake as directed.

Cool brownies in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cool completely. Spread frosting over top of cooled brownies. Cut six 3/4 inch strips of wax paper; greased side down in evenly spaced diagonal rows over frosting.

Dust cake liberally with confectioners sugar; carefully remove wax paper strips. Sprinkle reserved chopped cashews over unsugared strips on top of cake. Cut into squares.

Makes 16 servings.
