SWEET CUCUMBER PICKLES 
1 gal. sm. cucumbers
1 gal. water
1 c. salt

Mix the water and salt together. After washing the cucumbers put them in the salt water and let stand overnight.

Next morning - mix together: 1 1/2 qt. vinegar 1 tbsp. pickling spices 1 c. water 1 tsp. celery seed

Put this on to get hot. After the mixture gets hot, set aside to cool a few minutes. Take cucumbers out of salt water and poke a few holes in them using a fork or knife. Pack in jars and pour vinegar mixture over them. Seal and process in hot water bath 10 minutes. Note: Use open top canner only.
