SOFT OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
6 tbsp. molasses
1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. nuts, finely chopped
1 c. raisins

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, molasses and flour sifted with baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir in oats, nuts and raisins. Drop by spoonful on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 400°F oven for 5 minutes.

Makes 60 cookies.
