BLUEBERRY COFFEE CAKE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 can instant pie filling mix

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Blend in baking powder, salt, flour and vanilla.

Spread 2/3 of batter in a 10x15 pan. Spread pie filling over this. Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls. Bake 350 degrees 25-30 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 to 2 tbsp. milk

Mix and pour over bars as soon as they come out of oven.

(If smaller pan is used, test for doneness with toothpick.)

I halved the cake recipe and used a 9 by 13 dish. ALSO made my own blueberry mix by boiling 3 cups frozen bb, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tbs lemon juice and 2 tbs cornstarch. Also added some lemon juice to the glaze with the milk. Baked 25 minutes and it turned out delicious! Kids and husband approved and it looks very pretty too. Great sunday morning breakfast.
