BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. All Bran cereal
2 c. hot water
1 c. vegetable oil
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 c. flour
4 c. 40% Bran Flakes

Pour hot water over All Bran, let set while mixing vegetable oil, sugar and eggs, beating well. Add buttermilk, soda, salt and flour. Mix well. Stir in Bran Flakes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 quarts and keeps in refrigerator up to 6 weeks. Raisins or dates may be added.
