APRICOT MUNCH 
1 c. (6 oz.) dried apricot halves, lightly packed
1 c. walnut halves
1 c. mini pretzel twists
1 c. small cereal squares
1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
2 1/2 tsp. finely grated orange rind (1 medium orange)
2 tsp. powdered ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed

Preheat oven to 300 degrees, in a medium bowl, combine apricots, nuts, pretzels and cereal, set aside. In a small saucepan, melt butter, add orange rind and spices; stir until aromatic, about 15 seconds. Pour over apricot mixture and toss thoroughly to coat.

Sprinkle with brown sugar and continue to toss. Spread mixture on foil or waxed paper lined baking pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, toss once during baking. Serve warm or cool and store in airtight container up to 5 days. Makes 4 1/2 cups.
