3 c. all-purpose flour 3 c. sugar 9 eggs 1 1/2 c. shortening 1 1/2 tsp. lemon or almond extract Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; blend until smooth. Beat on medium speed for 10-15 minutes or until very fluffy. Spoon batter into a greased 10- inch tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until done. |
